Temecula Birth Photographer Enters The International Association of Professional Birth Photographers 2017 Image Competition
As a birth photographer, it is some time difficult to receive permission from clients to use their birth images on social media. I am sure most of you completely understand their hesitation, I know I do. I am so incredibly thankful and blessed that several of my amazing clients have allowed me photograph the birth of their child. I'm beyond appreciative to those client that have allowed me the honor of sharing their birth images with all of your.
My goal in sharing birth images, along with hundreds of other birth photographers and birth professionals is to normalize the birth process. What ever that process may be for each client, it is theirs to cherish. Many times females are often scared and afraid of having their baby, it's my goal to shed some positive light on births.
I want moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers, best friends and whom ever else may be at the birth of a child to realize that it's normal and better yet it's a natural process. Being a birth photographer is not not gross, scary, insensitive or any of the other words I've heard to describe birth photographers. It's a true honor to be among parents and other birth professionals during the birth of a beautiful newborn.
With that said, I've entered a few of my 2016 Birth Images into the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (IAPBP) "Birth Photography 2017 Image Competition". Today, the winners and honorable mentions will be announced. I am so excited to see all of the amazing professional birth photographers that have joined together to make this incredible and resilient birth community. We have shared so many images and stories with each other over the years, this last year was no exception. We've come together to offer words of encouragement, supportive feedback, love, prayers, tears and praise for each other. I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of birth photographers, we are from every walk of life and we represent almost every city in the United States and we've reached across the seas internationally.
