Jeromy's Surprise Proposal to Heather | Miramonte Winery, Temecula California

How it all started ....

Jeromy and Heather met at an Ugly Sweater Party in December of 2015, held by Jessica, Heather's co-worker and Kyle her husband who just so happens to be Jeromy's childhood bestfriend.  The two didn't think they had much in common and didn't really chat much, however shared a few jokes and enjoyed the night.

A few weeks pass and New Years Eve was upon them.  Heather had planned on going to Downtown San Diego with her friend Michelle, however those plans quickly fell thru leaving the ladies to figure out what else they could do.  Heather received a text message from Jessica informing her that everyone was headed to Old Town Temecula and that she should join them!  She quickly called her friends John and Carrie who were also looking for something to do and they all met up at Black Bird Tavern, Temecula where Jessica, Kyle and their friends were gathering.

Jeromy was determined not to spend New Years Eve sitting on the couch with his dog Wintson as he did the past two years in a row.  He didn't care who was going to be there, but he knew he wanted to get dressed up and head into Old Town Temecula.  In fact, earlier that week Jeromy and Zach had put the word out on the street that they would be in Old Town and that their friends should join them!  Much to Jeromy's surprise, his dear friends Kyle and Jessica arrived to join in the festivities.  

Both Jeromy and Heather had no idea that the other would be at Black Bird Tavern. Heather was excited to see friendly faces in the packed tavern.  They gathered with everyone around the fire pits, told a few old New Years Eve stories but Heather ended up going inside because it was rather cold out that night.  

When the group was ready to leave and venture off to a new location, Heather and her friends cashed out at the bar where they ran into Jeromy's twin brother Zach and his besfriend Chris. Zach mentioned to Heather that everyone was heading over to Public House Temecula,  Heather's crew decided they were going to!

As the night grew closer and closer to midnight, Jeromy remembers telling his sister that he had to go back into the bar because there was a pretty girl he just had to kiss.  Midnight stuck and sure enough, he got his wish! As he pulled Heather in for a kiss, he knew that he didn't want to ever let go.

Lets go ahead and fast forward ...

Finally the two of them started talking, texting and going on REAL dates!  Heather made their relationship "Facebook Official" on January 16, 2016 during her birthday dinner.  During one of their first double dates with John and Carrie, Heather and Jeromy fell in love with Miramonte Winery in Temecula Wine Country. They ended up becoming members and spending a lot of weekends enjoying each others company as well as amazing wine and food.

Jeromy just knew that Miramonte Winery would be the perfect place to propose to Heather because he knew how much they both enjoyed being there.

The Big Proposal .... 

It just so happened that on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 the Miramonte Winery was having their members only pick up party.  Jeromy knew this would be the perfect time to surprise Heather with the best proposal ever. She and Jeromy love to dress up when they go to the winery so Heather would already have her hair, makeup and an amazing outfit picked out. Jeromy told Heather mid-way thru the day that he had to work late and that she should go ahead without him and he would try and join up with her later in the evening.  Heather was ok with that because she knew her friends John and Carrie would be there as they are members as well.  

All day Jeromy was on the phone with their family, friends and the winery staff.  He was rather nervous but knew once he saw Heather everything would be perfect.  As he put together the last minute details he reached out to Christi one of Heather's bestfriends to pull off everything.  He knew that Christi would be the only one to get Heather into the winery if everyone else was staged waiting for her arrival, to include John the proposal photographer!  Christi had told Heather she wanted to get out of the house so Heather told her to head to the winery and use Jeromy's ticket because he was working late.  

When Heather arrived she was non the wise.  Christi met her at the check in desk and the two of them walked into the winery.  Music was playing, members were eating and drinking and everyone was having an amazing time. Heather receive a text from John and Carrie letting her know they were on the grass in the Members Only area.  As Heather walked past the band, she knew something was up ...
