What To Wear:

I met Jessica Lyster, owner of Hayari Style while attending a woman's business networking event with San Diego Moms Blog in North Park at Hess Brewing. After hearing about the jewelry line she represents, Chloe&Isabel, I just knew that I had to share it with everyone!
These pieces are absolutely perfect for the upcoming fall and holiday season. The pieces can easily go with a casual look, including jeans and knitted sweaters or pair them with your holiday outfits. Check out some of my personal favorites below, which include an adorable Bead + Ribbon Multi-Wrap Bracelet.
Plus, you won't want to miss their new wedding collection line. The new wedding collection at Chloe + Isabel are elegant statement pieces, that will be sure to draw in everyone's attention. Jessica at Hayari Style is amazing and really helpful when it comes to helping you select the perfect piece for any occasion.
Here's what Jessica had to say about her business, being an entrepreneur, and a mama!
What inspired you to start this business?
"I moved to Japan after getting married and left a management career behind for a new adventure. I had a hard time finding a job as a military spouse and was unemployed the first 6 months of living overseas. I finally found a job using my early education background. I still craved fashion and enjoyed styling women to feel confident in their own aesthetic.
That is when Hayari Style began. Hayari means "fashion/trendy" in Japanese. After settling back in the States I started researching jobs as a new mom. Chloe&Isabel caught my interest with it's unique jewelry & accessories and my background in styling & retail management. I began my journey with Chloe& Isabel and have enjoyed the ride as the company just celebrated it's 6 year anniversary!"
Share with us a favorite wedding you’ve had the honor of servicing?
"Unfortunately, I have not had this experience yet. I would love to service a wedding and accessorize the bride and bridesmaids with the bridal collection from Chloe&Isabel."
How do you feel your business differs from other businesses?"
"Chloe&Isabel jewelry and accessories are unique and innovative. The C&I jewelry comes with a lifetime guarantee. The jewelry is nickel-free and allergy-free. We also offer a variety of price points and different promotions on all of our products. Many of our pieces are convertible, one investment and multiple looks. We also offer a new free passport membership program where our customer earns 15% reward credits on every purchase. Plus, the company enables women to have an additional career while balancing a full-time job, being a mom, or as a college student."
What is it like in the daily life you? Are you a full-time entrepreneur, a mom, a spouse, etc ?
"I am stay at home mom of 3 and also a wife. I enjoy having Chloe&Isabel as a creative outlet. I want to continue to grow my business as a merchandiser and be in a management level role within the company."
What moments makes you especially proud of your business?
"I am in charge of my business as a merchandiser for Chloe&Isabel. I enjoy the creativity and thinking outside the box to explore different opportunities. Each opportunity gives me a chance to learn and grow as a C&I merchandiser, mother, and wife. "

Every month I select a talented wedding and/or industry related vendor to tell you about. This month, I'd to give a big shout out to two extremely talented wedding coordinators, Dee Dee Crumb & Erikka Fortenberry, the co-owners of Bowties and Lace Weddings. These two amazing ladies have worked their tails off bringing their couples spectacular weddings and events.
I truly love being able to ask vendors the questions we are all dying to know, so here are a few answered by Dee Dee and Erika.
What inspired you to start this business?
We have both always had a love for beauty and creativity. We are true artists at heart and feel totally fulfilled when we are able to express ourselves artistically. Couple that with our passion for ALL things wedding and it only seemed natural to share our talents with the world!
Share with us a favorite wedding you’ve had the honor of servicing?
We had the honor of planning the wedding of our good friends Ka’ Shawn and Michael Chambers at the Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton, CA March 12 of this year. It was such a magical wedding filled with personal details that represented the couple perfectly. The colors were purple and ivory and the theme was a Storybook love. We were able to use lace and other vintage details to tell their story and create a magical atmosphere. When the bride saw how beautiful everything looked, she cried! It was a very proud moment for both of us.
How do you feel your business differs from other businesses?
Dee Dee and are very passionate about our work and take every measure possible to make sure that our brides feel particularly special and catered to not only on their big day, but also throughout the entire planning process. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful at times, and it is always our goal to take the brunt of that stress.
We can easily take the bride’s vision and bring it to life in a way she would never imagine possible. We not only stay abreast of the current trends, but also create ways to add personal touches that represent the couple and their love and make an effort to think outside of the box when it comes to color and décor.
What is it like in the daily life of Bowties and Lace Weddings‘’?
Busy! We are constantly creating, researching and networking with other industry professionals. There are more pinterest pins and trips to Michael’s in a day for than you can imagine!
What moments makes you especially proud of your business?
This is a family business (Dee Dee is my aunt) and we are extremely proud that we have the luxury of working together and learning from each other.
And of course, the best moments are always the look on the bride’s face when she sees that we have made her vision a reality. It lets us know that all of our efforts have paid off.

2017 International Association of Professional Birth Photographers Winners Announced | Temecula Professional Birth Photographer & Member
I'd like to first start off by saying, thank you for taking an interest in Birth Photography. I was extremely grateful to have so many beautiful births this year and to be able to participate in the annual International Association of Professional Birth Photographers.
This marks my second year entering the contest, I am humbled to say I have not yet won but you know what, that's not why I enter my images. Truly, a win would be amazing but at this point I'm humbled to be among some of the most beautiful and creative souls in the industry.
My “why” to enter the competition is much deeper. Birth photography has my heart and has for many many years. I started photographing births of military families I was close with on Camp Pendleton. Just being there to capture the beautiful birth of a newborn baby while their daddy was overseas was validation enough for me about 4 years ago.
If it wasn't for IAPBP, I doubt I would have even thought being a professional birth photographer was going to be something I could successfully achieve, I couldn't have done it alone. It’s incredible honor to call myself a member. A member of one of the finest group of professionals you’ll meeting. It's an honor to share in the excitement with so many amazing professional birth photographers through the year. They bring their best work to the table each and everytime. I've not only watched myself grow, but those Birth Photographers I've become dear friends with. We are a tight knit community, always supporting and always helping each other grow in our craft. Through our closed group, we share, inspire and support each other. I joined IAPBP back in 2013, I would not be the birth photographer I am now without the encouraging and supportive nature of the professional Birth Photographers I've met within this community.

Did you just get engaged?
Have you started planning the wedding of your dreams and are hunting for a wedding venues and other wedding professionals to help you with your big day?
Are you having a hard time finding the perfect venue for your special wedding day?
If you've said yes to any of the questions above, I've got a few pointers as a professional wedding photographer, that just may help save you some serious time and prevent possible headaches while planning for upcoming wedding! Here are a few things you should avoid and think about at all cost when picking your perfect wedding venue and your other wedding professionals.
I can't stress this enough ... have a back-up plan!
As you may already know and if not I hope you never have to find out the hard way, but not all vendors are created equal no can you predict the future.
Anything can happen, weather could cause you to move your wedding inside instead of the picturesque outdoor reception location. Your vendors could face a problem or have a family emergency. Make sure there's a back up for them and that they are able to stick to the contract if an emergency occurs. Also, make sure your vendors are professionals, which means they should all be professionally insured! Don't take their word for it either, ask for a copy of the professional liability insurance prior to signing a contract and giving a deposit/retainer for service.
I can't stress this enough ...
Get your own wedding insurance policy!!
The brides of Alfred Angelo's Bridal store will most likely never be able to receive their wedding gowns, and worse never receive a refund on the money already paid out for their gowns which is tragic. I'm honestly praying that they had their own wedding insurance policy! Let this be a lesson to us all, it pays to have insurance.
It most likely will cost you less than your wedding cake and could potentially save you thousands of dollars and safeguard all of your wedding-related investments if things happen to go wrong. Disasters can happen to anyone. Consider protecting your investment with wedding insurance from places like WedSafe, so you can have some peace of mind, too. They have two insurance packages that can help you:
Happy Wedding Planning!

Blossom and Bloom Photography - Temecula's Top 21 Engagment and Wedding Photographer
If there's one thing you may already know about me, or maybe you're just learning about me is that I love to capture the real, organic, and raw moments my beautiful and amazing clients have with their loved ones.
Forget those overly posed engagement and wedding photos, where her hand is on his chest and they look into each other's eyes, with a blank stare ... as if someone just said "ok that's great now, look into each other's eyes!" Well ... it happens and I frankly think it's downright boring.
I want my couples to feel alive! Grab each other by the hands, give a dip, laugh and play together. Non of that posing stuff here, because let's face it I'm here to capture who you truly are.
Snuggle up real close with each other, make each other blush when you share your most intimate and loving moments with each other. I want your man or woman to get that tingling feeling he or she gets up the spin when you nuzzle up to them and kiss their neck.
On your wedding day, don't be afraid to twirl your partner on the dance floor, sing to each other, take a shot with your groomsman, or a selfie with your bestie! Heck, that cake that's smashed on your new brides face ... don't let it go to waste, don't worry I love cake that much too!
I'll be there to capture each of those awesome moments much like I have for my previous clients.
I want your engagement and wedding photos to represent you, your love for each other, and most of all your special day with each other and your loved ones. Remember, your wedding should represent you just like the photos being taken should.
I'm not here to make the cover of a magazine with your special moments, I'm not concerned about your wedding looking absolutely perfect for a blog feature on a wedding website. You want to cry as your bride walks down the isle, let the tear flow my man. It's all good, enjoy that moment and soak it in and live it!!!
I want the photos I take of you to be special and just for you! That way when you look back on your photographs in years to come, you'll smile and laugh remembering all those amazing moments.
As a local Temecula, Ca Wedding + Portrait photographer located in the heart of wine country, I'd love to meet you at a local winery, enjoy a glass of wine together and discuss your upcoming wedding with you.
Much love and many blessings,

As a local Temecula Wedding + Portrait Photographer, watching the ever so changing trends of photography is often rather interesting. SLR Lounge really nailed the 2017 Photography Trends in their most recent article.
Check it out below, are you loving or hating the trends?
I personally love them! Most of the trends, I've been doing for a little over a year with my own photography style. It's kind of cool to see that others are thinking outside of the box and embracing the shadows and direct light.
Below are a few recent headshot portraits taken for Wildomar hair salon, Tribe. The client wanted a dramatic and artistry headshot for their staff members. Here I used one light source, with a black backdrop and reflector for fill light.
Many photographers and creatives often struggle with watermarking the images on their website, social media, etc. The question often goes something lie this, "Should I watermark my images?" and it tends to pop up on Facebook groups, during networking meetings, and photography workshops.
Today, I'd like to share a few of my thoughts about watermarking and why I feel that it's really not necessary to watermark photos anymore. Don't worry I was down right shocked myself, when I came to the realization!!!
As a wedding photographer, I had been watermarking my images for YEARS! I've been enjoying the change and cleaner look.
Watermarking photos looks more professional.
When I first started photographing clients, I attempted to watermarked my photos because I thought it made me appear to be professional. You know, because if I had a logo on my images I must be seasoned, right!? Let's go ahead and seriously face it, right now, together ... The TRUTH is, watermarked or not people will take you serious IF your professionalism shows through, not your watermark.
Just go look around at some of those blogs you love, you'll quickly notice there are no watermarks on images. Why because it's distracting. They do however site the photographer if they are a reputable blog.
Watermarking photos protects them from being stolen, edited, and shared without your permission.
The truth is, your photos aren’t safe. Im guess that stung a little. It's ok, it almost made me want to stop putting my images online too. Let's go ahead and get real with each other, if your images do get stolen, do you have the energy or bandwidth to police the internet? This isn't the late 90's and early 2000's where finding duplicated images on the World Wide Web was easier. A majority of the images I've actually had stolen had my logo on it, they edited it out or cropped it out. That easy.
My clients invest a good portion of money into their one of a kind portrait story session. I want them to love and share their photos, for many years to come. My business exists to serve them, not my ego and a watermarks just distract from their memories. Plus, it actually takes extra time to watermark my images, which in turn is money I feel is wasted.
But let’s get back to the real-world application for a second, because my professional photos have actually been used without my permission, it's happened about 1,000+ times.
I have to ask myself these three questions ...
Do I have the time to search for the publishers, blogs, writers, etc that have taken my images?
Are they going to remove the image if asked?
Most likely not.
How much time would I waste if I had to police all my images?
Far too much.
If I wanted to get them to take down the photos they have stolen and shared without my permission, I would’ve had to go through an entire legal process — which isn't worth my time and probably isn’t worth yours either. Unless you think the money you lost (or they made) from stealing your photos is worth more than the legal fees you’ll most likely incur to fight them.
I'm not saying it makes it right, I am not condoning those that steal images without permission. However, as a small business owners I have to make sure my TIME has a higher value than it being wasted.
Take the five seconds to report them to Instagram/Facebook and move on with our day. Our time is too valuable to do more than that.
Some will say that watermarking photos is good marketing, you never know if someone will see the watermark and contact me for business.
I actually think it's good marketing for clients to actually upload the picture, shares it on his/her page where all of their friends can see it. They either thank you, their photographer in the caption (likely) or says nothing (still fine!)
LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS BELOW.
Whats your take on Watermarked Images?
If you're a photographer, do you wanted mark your images?
If you're a client do you prefer unmarked images?
