Creatives Business Workshop - Digital Marketing and Financial Strategies for Small Business Entrepreneurs
Heather J. Potter of Blossom and Bloom Photography is offering a new exclusive in person intensive business workshop for all the blossoming and blooming creatives. This workshop is perfect for photographers, wedding and event managers, florists, music engineers and other small business entrepreneurs.
The "Creatives Workshop - Marketing and Financial Strategies" will be located in Wildomar, CA. Heather and her team of mentors will teach you affordable ways to market your current small business as well as teach you ways to keep your bookkeeping under control.
Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategies
We all know that spending days upon days at a workshop will only make you fall further behind, so we are making this an intensive 1 day workshop. You'll learn how to generate more site traffic and prospective clients though easy-to-use digital techniques. Heather and her team of mentors will show you how a combination of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Periscope and blogs) search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC/Google Adwords) can attract new leads (clients) to your site.
Website & Portfolio Guidance
Heather will also show you how to build an impressive visually stimulating portfolio that will keep potential clients on your site once they have arrived. We will discuss how to engage new clients and create a client welcome guide. You'll learn how to respond to emails and use reply templates that streamline your communication.
What's your "Business Pitch"?
Do you lack the confidence to pitch your business to prospective clients? During the Creatives Business Workshop we will teach you how to give your 15 minute elevator pitch to anyone! If you already have a Business Pitch, pitch it to us and we will help you fine tune and perfect it.
Bookkeeping & Accounting Practices
Heather will go over how easy it is to keep track of your business financials with easy bookkeeping/accounting tips and tricks. We will discuss as a class what type of bookkeeping is currently being used and what programs other creatives are using to help keep their quotes, invoices, and projects on target. From accountings payable and receivables to profit and loss statements, you'll learn how to manage your growing business. Plus, you'll receive special discounts on software programs we go over during the workshop!
This course is designed for both beginning and established creatives. The basic strategies provide the fundamentals, a refresher for established creatives, and the more advanced information gives less-established creatives a roadmap for the future.
There will be advice for ANY genre.

All attendees will receive a professional headshot taken at the beginning of the workshop.

- Be sure to dress to impress for your headshot.
