We had great session with Baby Kristina last month in Oceanside, California. She was only 2.5 weeks old and did a fabulous job contently sleeping during her Newborn Story portrait session which was photographed in the comfort of her families home.
Her mom and dad, Karla and Christian did an amazing job getting the house and baby ready for our arrival. The home was perfectly set to 80 degrees, which really does help keep baby settled and sleepy during their Newborn Story Portrait Session. There was plenty of diapers, wipes and bump clothes already set up upon our arrival too! Baby Kristina was finishing up eating upon our arrival which was just what we needed.
Let's just say that Karla and Christian took all the advice they found within the What to Expect During A Newborn Portrait Session blog to heart, which was perfect and incredibly helpful.
Mom and dad got to relax during their babies newborn portrait session because I always bring an assistant (thank you again Jeromy) with me to my newborn sessions. My assistant helps me with background set up, wraps, lighting and safely posing baby during their session.
We were able to capture several different poses of Baby Kristina, plus family portraits too! We love being able to offer our clients beautiful portraits that they will be able to cherish for many years and generations to come.
